1017 Wreaths

This year I've decided I would make a few wreaths.. I've actually narrowed it down to 8 or 9 different ones I want to make.  This one was unplanned.. just a practice thing using mesh which I'd never used before.  No plan or idea what it was going to look like when I started... but I actually like it really well.  The picture doesn't do it justice.  I should put it on a dark wall or door and then see how it looks.  But for now.. here it is...

Getting behind... again

I didn't post my last arrangements.. maybe it's because I didn't really arrange anything last time.. all I did was make bouquets in several different containers and weight them with cement.. Reason for me doing this or not doing real arrangements is that the cemetery has decided they can and will remove any arrangements they deem faded or inappropriate whenever they want to..  and they will do this. How do I know?  They removed a perfectly nice wreath complete with stand from our cemetery plot along with four other nice arrangements that they thought had been there too long..  Made me angry and sad.. went to the board meeting to try and reason with them but no changes were made... they have ignored my requests...  shame on them.  Anyway, here is the wreath I made for my own door.. and some bouquets that we put out in the cemetery...

I'm not keeping up.. oh dear.
