And today I finished a basket of flowers for Kiko. This is the old basket we found. Mac cleaned it up and painted it. Those old baskets seem more sturdy than the new flimsy things in the store. Here it is. I like it.

Grandmas wreath

Time to start thinking about new arrangements for the cemetery. I finished the first one today. This is a wreath I made for Grandma...

My ornament. I didn't have the type of ribbon I wanted so had to improvise.. it was fun and I think maybe next time I won't make so many mistakes.

Finally something to post.

I've finished the little wooden birds. What silly little fun things they were to do.. They aren't good because my eyesight is awful and my hands aren't very steady, but they are cute and I will put them proudly on my Christmas tree this year... J

It's been a long time

since I've posted anything here.. last time I posted were the Christmas arrangements I made for the cemetery... Can't believe I've done no other crafts whatsoever until now and they aren't really crafts. But I've made some new Valentine arrangements to take to the cemetery. In all fairness I have been thinking about some new crafts and have actually bought a few supplies to start making some Christmas tree decorations. I don't really need new or anymore decorations but I want some.. so that's what I'm going to do. But for now here are a few pics of the arrangements we did.... J

Finally something to post.

I've been very lax in getting my crafts done... seems too hard to do them with someone constantly interrupting so I just do nothing.. But it's time to change the flowers in the cemetery so I made a couple of new arrangements and we'll take them down tomorrow. Will post more pics when I get them set out. For now, here's a couple...

Wreath

Haven't changed the flowers at the cemetery in quite awhile.. I decided to get something made so I can put it out for Kiko before I go for surgery. Might be a little while before I can go again. So this is what I made today... J

T-shirt transfer

I'm pretty much pleased with how the transfers came out.. it's not big and gaudy... looks very tasteful do me. Tell me what you think... J

We set the headstone

The cement is still wet and the edges need to be straightened but it's there and his name is spelled correctly. I'm glad to have it done and yet I hate it. Hate the thought of it and no matter what anyone says, I will never recover from this. J

New arrangements

Tomorrow we will take Kikos headstone to the cemetery... we'll set it into cement and make a place for flowers to be inserted. We'll also take this arrangement that Jerri and I made today. Taking flowers for Grandma, Martha, Aunt Donna, Bill and Grandpa... Remember to click on the pics to see full sized. J

Finally, something to add....

I finally finished painting and lining the little jewelry box... it was fun. I'm not too steady and it probably looks like a little childs handi-work, but it's cute and exactly what I needed. Here it is..

FINISHED !!!

Wheeeeeeeeee what a job, but it was worth it. We got all the pictures hung today and I am satisfied with the way they look. I don't have anything for the table below them yet and am not sure what to get to put on there. I do know it has to be something super plain. Don't want it to be too busy.. here are a few pics. Had to take them off to the side so as not to get the glare from the windows.....J

First picture framed...

I only bought one frame and one matte... because I wasn't sure about sizes etc... but this really looks good. This is a 10x14 frame, matted with and 8x10 matte. Hard to take a picture because of the glare.. would have liked to buy non-glare glass but way too costly.. I'm really happy with the way this one turned out.

The Bracelets are done...

I finished them some time ago but just barely got the energy to take some pictures. I really love these bracelets. The last two I made actually looked like carved wooden beads.
